OptimizeMe Nutrition at WOD on the Waves
OptimizeMe Nutrition gave two lectures on the inaugural WOD on the Waves Cruise (Jan 21-25). We've don't actually have the original lectures, but here's a post-cruise recording of both. ~40 total minutes for both lectures.
Lecture 1: Understanding Quantity in the Diet
- Doesn't matter whether you want lose or gain weight, understand the principles that matter to reach either goal.
Lecture 2: Supplements and Athletic Performance
- Supplements don't really move the needle much: athletes need to be focused on training, recovery and nutrition before supplements. Hear about protein, low-carb based supplements, and anti-inflammatories & anti-oxidants for athletic performance.
- EC does touch on two supplements that may be worth trying for performance.
